S’koolFest are back!

S’koolFest presented by Northbrook MET: The best young bands, singers, songwriters and MCs from Sussex schools and colleges celebrate their amazing new local musical talent at the tenth annual S’koolFest!

Supported this year by the Sussex Steel band, and the mega, multi-school S’koolFest Gospel Choir conducted with the uplifting energy of BBC TV’s Choir of the Year Finalist choir director Siggi Mwasote. Feedback from our Music Industry panel.

Come support your school and catch these talented youngsters before they’re famous!

Where it all started

S’koolFest Started as work experience for our live sound students, who would take our PA and lights to local schools similar to the now common “battle of the bands”. But S’koolFest is not a “knock out” competition which only finds one winner.

The musical talent and enthusiasm from students and staff across the area have led to this becoming a celebration of Sussex musical talent. The school heats now lead to the best bands from each school having the opportunity to entertain a bigger audience, as well as having the opportunity to work in a bigger venue with professional Stage, lights, and PA. The final “sweetener” for the best band on the night is the opportunity to record an EP at our industry quality studios.
