Music Production Courses

Professional audio hardware and software is within reach of most small budgets now, and the thousands of YouTube video tutorials are great for getting you started in music production – but  they only get you  so far. What we specialise in is mentoring and developing your skills further, and with a clear potential path from college right through to university levels, you can really get your production career off to a head start. The courses take place in our state of the art studio complex featuring the latest hardware and software including Ableton, Pro Tools and Logic Pro, as well as other industry standard packages such as Native Instruments Komplete, Melodyne, Sibelius and MAX/MSP. The assessments are designed to not only reflect the current practices in music production but also to introduce you to a variety of working methods providing you with a usable portfolio of works and a relevant CV. You will be supported and mentored throughout your time at Northbrook by a lecturing team, many of whom continue to work professionally at the highest levels of the music industry. There is so much on offer here, so we’d love to meet you and discuss the course either at interview or open day.
