Brighton Music ConferenceYou need skills, knowledge, understanding and an excellent industry network to forge a career in the rapidly changing international music business and this course has been designed specifically to answer those needs.

You are taught by music industry specialists across key new areas such as digital marketing, music licensing & sync and music metadata and traditional areas including live music, A&R, merchandising, copyright & contracts and business planning & funding.

You will develop your own music industry career goals and become involved with your pick of projects including festivals, record labels, studios and other opportunities in and out of College, including student radio station NSR.fm.

We have excellent music industry links via staff, students and alumni who work in all sectors of the industry. The Great Escape music industry convention in Brighton also brings significant work experience opportunities.

Classes and project work in small groups in our Music Business hub run inside Northbrook’s extensive state of the art studio complex, providing a busy music ecosystem and thriving talent pool for artist development, supplemented by a series of lectures from prominent music industry figures, including record labels, publishers, artist managers, music lawyers and performing artists.
